NIHR BioResource Centre - London UCL

University College London Hospital Trust and UCL partner hospitals work to support the national effort to recruit individuals to the NIHR BioResource.

Since joining the NIHR BioResource in 2013, the UCL Centre has recruited more than 12,000 patients and healthy people available for recall into research studies.

Patients are drawn from across the UCLH Trust, including the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery, the largest dedicated neurological and neurosurgical hospital in the UK.

The UCL BioResource Centre supports a wide variety of research, including participant recall studies as well as pure data analysis using machine-learning techniques that combine genetic and imaging data.

Professor Nicholas Wood is the Lead Investigator for the UCL BioResource. He is also the Research Director of the UCL Institute of Genetics and the Galton Chair of Genetics.
